Student-Researchers wrote about a wide range of topics during Spring 2017, including: the arrival in May 1943 of the United States Women’s Auxiliary Army Corps; Athol Graham, whose quest in 1960 to set a land speed record on the Bonneville Salt Flats ended in tragedy; the 1965-66 season of The University of Utah’s Runnin’ Utes; and newspaper coverage of a 1904 train collision near the Lucin Cutoff in which 24 men—16 of whom were Greek immigrant railroad workers—died.
