During Fall 2019 semester, students continued creating a finding aid—an annotated index—of the Daily Utah Chronicle. The student newspaper debuted as a weekly on December 16, 1892. It was then named the University Chronicle.

Students reviewed issues published between September 1960 and April 1962 and summarized the content of stories and advertisements.

Students also selected a topic for an original longer article based on something they discovered during their research.
